Day 19+20: Hidden cat drawing and a Spring card

Everything in this days will be in the hurry because I am a little bit of busy with my own work but in some breaks I will try to do something creative, like for example, today I did this sneaky cat who is lurking for some mouse or who know, maybe after you;))
The drawing is in black ink and acrylics on white paper!

Meanwhile this days were really great outside in Brno, the weather is sunny, the birds are singing and the air is more clean and more soft so I think the spring is knocking to our doors! This is just perfect! And for luring the spring I did this card. I think it's just great for receiving the colourfully , beautifully spring:)

Day 17+18: Moustache brooch and photo collage

I’ve prepared a cute brooch on light pink colour with ice blue hearts and black lace. The brooch is made from ceramic and it can’t wait to fit on some pretty lady dress,/blouse/shirt:)

In another day I did a photo collage with me and Hera for my boyfriend as a gift! I hope he will lake it. It’s quite easy to do it, use a colour board, a photo that u want to have it, some lace, and some cute printed paper, I’ve used it with dots (i am crazy about dots) and there you go!:)

Day 16: Umbrella set

Hei everyone! as you can see I am behind with posting but I will keep out the good work, I hope:) The excuse is that I had friends of mine coming to visit me, from Prague so, not so much time for creating but meanwhile I did this accessories set ( a brooch and a pair of earrings). The set is made from white light ceramic painted with acrylics and the brooch had lace also.:)

So be prepared for the rainy spring days with this set

Day 15: Bohemian girl drawing

Those days I found throw Internet a very talented girl who makes such a lovely drawings. Her name is Emma Leonard and all her drawings has a romantic, chic, bohem taste. You shall check her out. So I got inspired by one of her drawing and I did this lady in pencils on white paper. I’ve discovered how to put an antique print to the drawing by putting it in front of a lamp and do the photo. Pretty cool right!:)

Day 14: Fat felt tom cat

Lady’s and gentleman I present you Furry the fat felt tom cat! Despite the fact that he is fat his “life”is actually happy. Look at him how he smile:) All that he is doing is to lie down, watch throw the window how it’s snowing and eat sweets! Crazy life right?
Ohh and he can also climb on you and to transform in to a cute brooch! He is just super! My fat felt tom cat, Furry!:)

Day 13: Fox love Card

Don't get me wrong I didn't do this card for Valentine's Day, it just happened to do it near this day:) I don;t celebrate Valentine's Day because like you know it's not a tradition for us, we have our love day on 24 February and then Romanian people shall celebrate "Love day":)
I found this cute image on the Internet and I thought that is way to cute not to do a drawing with this 2 lovers:) So I did...a card!

Day 11+12: Key necklace and my lazy baby

Hi to all! First I want to present the new face of my blog! Isn't it great? I want to thank for this to A dreamer who helped me a lot for pimping my blog. So what do you think? I need feedback:)
Second as you can see those days I've been a little lazy and quite sick so not so much in the mood for creating:) but still I did a necklace with a key and a lace bow. Short and sweet I shall say! Then I just discovered this sweet picture with me and Hera when she was 4 months .Isn't she adorable? I miss her so much but I am pleased with the fact that in 1 month I can be with her again. Yupi!!!

I’ve painted my new blouse with a sort of Teckel dog but like I’ve said I am not so happy about the result. It’s not so bad but I’ve expected to be more nicer.

Today I will show you a project that I made in collaboration with a friend of mine Ramon who wanted to do this card for his friend. He asked me to draw a girl who looks like his friend and he can make the card and print it, so I did, I draw the girl, send him the picture he made the collage with some special program:) print the card and there you go, The Card:)

P.S: this day with the help of sweet Dreamer will make a new face of my blog I am so excited!:)

TAD day 6+7= Prague Trip

Day 7

Hi! Long time no see right? Well that's because I had a petty nice trip in Prague, actually I combined travel with work!:) So I've skiped the TAD 5 (yesterday) cause I didn't had Internet and I was kinda busy!
In day 6 I will show you some pictures that I've made in the center of Prague! I couldn't do more 'cause I was freezed to death and It's not so pleasant to do photos on -10 plus I was alone so not so fun but still Prague it's charming as I know it, most when is a sunshine day (but freezing) and I bought some presents for my friends, family.
Cute right?:)

Day 6:

In day 5 you can see pictures from a big exotic animals fair from Prague. This is the biggest exotic animal fair from Czech Republic. If you are a fan of this I am sure that you will enjoy it so much! You can see most of the reptiles species, turtles, lizards, insects, butterflies and of course cute little rodents like the ones from the pictures! (Blogger doesn't want to save the pictures with butterflies and tarantulas in normal format, I don;t know way! Hrrrr!)

Day 3 TAD: Family hedgehog

We are in the day 3 of the project and for today I’ve prepared a cute family of hedgehog, mom and the cute little baby hedgehog.

I’ve got inspired from a creative magazine from Romania it’s called Atelierul with some pretty cool ideas for creatives souls:)
So the hedgehog are made from “fresh” fir cones and ceramic. I’ve painted the ceramic, put some nail polish and voila!:)
Now I have to run, I am going to have a cool weekend in Prague!

TAD-Day 2: Felt collar necklace

Hello boys and girls! This is the second day of Thing-a-day and for this day I've prepared a cute Peter pan collar necklace made from red and white felt with pearl beads, a pink crochet flower in the center and satin ribbon.
For a long time I wanted to to this type of collard because I am crazy about Peter Pan collars so why shouldn't I try it for my own right?

Thing-a-day 2012 project: Day 1

The firs day has arrived! Didn't I told you? Oh, my bad:) So this year I participate for the first time on a really cool creative project called "Thing-a-day", this year is the 6Th edition and I've decided to be involved too!
I think it's really fun and it stimulate your creativity, I can wait to see how the things will go, and I am super curious about the other girls projects ( see Bo3mia, Kittn..) and I want to thank to Anca cause throw her I encourage myself to get involved! Yupii!!

So for the first day I present you a ink and acrylics drawing with an, of course, beagle. The idea I found it throw Internet but my sweet Hera was a muse too, if you can see in the first picture!
I think you will see more beagle or animals drawing in this project 'cause i am a real fun of animals and.....sure...drawings!

Love in Prague

Yesterday I was in the mood for painting, actually for oil painting but I've realise that I don't have the black "colour" with me, so I had to work with other materials like acrylics and ink, which I did.
For long time ago I was thinking to do a work about Prague, beacuse this city inspire me so much and every part of the city has an art story, so I've decided to do this painting. It's a reproduction from Yuri Shevchuk, a great painter from Ukraine who lived for a long time in Prague. You can see throw his works many paintings with Prague and jazz musicians.

DIY: Decorative pear

Hi to all of you deers:). today i am going to show you how can you make an easy deco object: a decorative pear.
So you are going to need:

Be careful, you can get all sticky from the amount of the glue, the string should be good fixed.

It looks nice right? in this phase you can make even a doll (maybe I will make it in another DIY project) attache some eyes, draw a nose and a mouth and some hair and tadam:)

And this is that final result, pretty easy right?

New Year's Eve in Praha

This New Year's Eve was one of my favorite, in my favorite city, Prague, near my boyfriend, his brother and my lovely dog, Hera. The city was full of people from all over the world, the weather was nice and the light were on.

First we had a nice walk around the center, crossing the most beautiful bridge, Charles Bridge, going around the big palace, have a walk in the old square near the asrtological clocks and of course making pictures at all the details that makes Prague so nice!

My Christmas

Merry Christmas to everyone! I will not say many things in this post first beacuse I am so tired now (bit I realy want you to show a part of my happy Christmas) and second beacuse I think pictures will say more then words. What was the most beautiful on this Christmas is the fact that I meet my baby Hera and my boyfriend. They came to visit me in Brno, with Paul!

Yesterday we had a nice trip to Vienna! In the afternoon it was kind of empty and even the Christmas market were not open but in the evening the city came to life!

Sunday in Vienna

You start your sunday at 4:30, travel with car to Vienna, you got there?good! what should you do? Drink a special christams Starbucks coffe with ginger taste...it's delicious, i tell you:)

Finished the coffe? ok, so let's go to the beautiful St. Stephen church and light a candle.

Next stop: The cute pink store full of sweets , candies and cupcakes. The result: You will want all the store!

Passing throw the center you can not be amazed buy this sweets figurines, isn't this house look like the one from Hanel and Gretel?

On the way you will se for sure the most old, chic and expensive candy shop from Vienna; they have all the tipes of gifts for all the tipes of candy freaks (but you have to pay good money for that)

Couldn't resist: I have to show you the 2012 calendar with Audrey Hepburn!!

Pass the center with a carriage pulled buy the most beautiful horses from Vienna Spanish Riding School and then get to the one of the most beautiful Christmas Fair:

Smash your teeths with some yummy sugar apples and with gingerbread, or maybe buy them as presents:)

Enjoy the Christmas fair and delight yourself with some amazing art suvenirs, Christmas presents and a lot of sugar!!!
You will feel in one day like in hundreds of years of fairytale stories if you will go in this period in Vienna!

A day at the castle

This weekend I had an amazing fun time with my friend Iva at the Pernstejn castle near Brno, at 38 km far away. It is a marble castle because of marble like stone used to frame the doors and windows. It's alsow a medieval castle from the 13 centuries.
First on our way we stoped to have a coffe and some sweets on a little cute candy shop with realy nice decorations, as you can see above.

We got in to the garden castle and we had luck beacuse the weather was good to us (sunny day). It was quite a pitty beacuse we couldn't visit inside the castle but we had fun on the fair. It was a christmas fair most for childrens but of course for big childrens like us too:)

This is a book where inside you can find all the tipe of dresses for dress up this young lady and some needles and colored thread to design your own dress. Pretty creative for young lady ,right?

Old doll houses with everything inside it! I think they were a fortune!

And my masterpiece:)) Of course...a horse, which actually I ate!:)

So, I had a really cool time at the castle with Iva and her friends, we drunk some punch, saw a theatre (but unfortunately in czech), made Christams decorations (it was a workshop for kids but I felt I should do it, I am a kid also, right?) and a lot of joy!!

Holiday cards and a wood frame

Like you know everybody is in the "Christmas fever" so I've decided to be in the wave:)) so I've plan for 1 week I guess to start make some Christmas cards. I've searched some pretty stuf for creation the cards but I couldn't find it what I need so I've kinda "tuned" this cards. Well, to realise that I can go shopping only after I finish work and that's after 5 when all the stores here are closed and in weekend when I always get to late for stores (they closed at 12-14)...not so good for me, but I didn't gave up of the ideea of making them so here they are.

First one is a pink polka card with a cute mouse preparing some good hot chocolate, and second one is with 3 yumy cupcakes!
I've used color paper on A4, white paper burned:)) realy, acrilics, colored pencils, and saten ribbon

Then I've got inspired by a cute articole from Atelierul magazine and made a "bio" frame from branches that I've picked them from the campus:) and string..oh yes and a picture with me and my boyfriend:)

The sweet chaos after work!! it is always like that no matter how "hard" I work! messy me:)

Today I wish for...piano

Oh the piano!! What a great instrument!! I can die listening playing...I always wanted to play at piano but never got the occasion the learn it. I was asking people where I can find a nice teacher and a cheaper one and actually i had one ocassion to learn it from a nice old woman but I was on my holidays and I didn't had to much time for learning and for knowing how to play at piano it takes more then 2 weeks so I gave up..Sad Sad!!But I never give up tring and I will always think that one day I will have to have time, teacher, everything to start learning play at this magnific instrument: The Piano!

Friends forever

I miss my best friend like hell so today I will dedicate this post to my loving best frend dog ever, my super duper beagle HERA!

I have to tell you that a relation with a dog it's the most intense thing that I ever had. And you can not compare with a human relation, it's a total different thing, they can love you so much and appreciate you exactly in the way you are, even if you are smart, stupid, tall, short, beautiful, ugly, etc. Even if you are depressed a dog can make your day, imagine that you are sad, staying in the house all day long, getting more depressed but with the dog somehow you are obligated to go out with him/her so in this case you go out and start to fell better, you can see other people smiling, birds singing, snow, sun, the little things that makes you happy, so what the dog did? Exactly, got you ouy from the depression and made you smile again and put you in to a better mood!! There are so many to say about this amazing relation human-dog but i will start to fell sad again and I don't want to!! I can wait to have my precious Hera back

Meanwhile I made a draw with me and Hera in the same ink on paper!! Isn't this cute?:)

A favorite art photographer: Jan Saudek

Today I am going to present you one of my favorite art photographer, Jan Saudek, a czech famous photograph that captures important emotions and moments in life. His art is inspired by dream worlds, tableaux works, childhood, religious motives, political symbols of corruption.
His life was controversial, he worked in a cellar to avoid the attention of the secret police, but in 1983 he published his first book of his work but in english words, and he finally becomes a freelance photographer as the Czech communist authorities allowed him to cease working in the print shop, and gave him permission to apply for a permit to work as an artist.

DIY-Braided wreath hair

Because I had many suggestions of making a tutorial of this kind of hairstyle (I like to wear my hair like that and most of the girl wish to make it too) today I've decided that is the moment. I have to tell you, it was really hard to make this wreath braided hair and to make myself pictures, but with patient I did it!! Yeyy!! So, this is not so difficult to make it (even I know that it looks like it is) and I hope that you understand something from my pictures.

Let's start ,shall we?

First, take your hair on a left part or right (is up to you), it will look better like this, and the wreath will be more "out", let's say like that!

From that side take 3 strands of hair just from the middle of that part of the head (in my case , left) and start make regular braided hair (the most simple one), make 1/4 of the strand

Like in the picture below lift the braided strand up, and know from the 3 strand that you have in the braid make 2 (so unite two and let one).

And now, take the near strand and make a normal braided hair from this new strand and with the other that you already have it in your other hand. Make two "rounds" of normal braid hair, and then do the same like the first strand ( from 3 make 2; unite two and let one).

Repeat this since you got to the end of the oposite part of your hair, and when you see that you got a nice braided wreath hair. For sure it wouldn't happen to be everything ok from the first time but you have to practice, and then you will realise that is a pice of cake:)

After that you can do whatever do you want, like gather your hair in a one side tail;

Or one side hair bun!! It's up to you!

My fist beagle ink drawing

Finally I've took some courage to paint my favorite dog, a beagle. I tell you the truth that I had some emotions painting this beacuse I've wanted for long time to have more drawings with beagles but I've always thought that I will not make it. So here it is, i maigh say that I am happy with it (when it comes to my "art" I am very severe with myself)

I've just found some nice art prints on internet and got inspired by them. I like the fact that they have some "Art nouveau" print and for me it's just perfect 'cause i like all about art nouveau (painters, fashion, home deco, music...). The drawings are the same, in ink, this time black and red (i've just bought the red one..yey). I think in the next future all be doing more art nouveau drawings in my new taste in tehniques..ink painting!!

Handmade in a box with a cat too!

Despite the fact that today was a real "three evil hours" Tuesday i found i real nice store with so many antiques stuff and I got this cute golden box with fairy vinatge detailes. I actually needed one and it was quite cheap..49 Kc..tham means 2 euros, and it's large to, so I can put all my handmade stuff there. If you can see i have handmade brands like " Kittenhood", VintageSH, "The art of Murmu, of course:)" and others...

After celebrating my new cute box i made a draw with the same tehnique like the last 2 drawings, SUMI E. It's a nasty cat!! Miauuu!!

Say hello to my new pet: Mendark the gecko

Lady and gentleman I present you my new pet: Mandark the cute gecko!! I've just got it today from a friend of mine and it's interesting to have it because i never had this kind of pet so it will be like a challenge. I have a pretty nice terrarium for him and I just need to put some light so he can lie on "the sun".

He or she (don't know yet) is a gecko, a tipe of lizards that lives in warm climates and have more then 2000 of species. They have an interesting lifestyle like: Many species will defense, in , expel a foul-smelling material and feces onto their aggressors; many species that will drop their tails in defense, a process called autotomy, others are well known for their specialized toe pads that enable them to climb smooth and vertical surfaces, and even cross indoor ceilings with ease

There are so many to talk about them but this only if you are interested, for me it will be and with his I will start to study more the reptailes and amphibians

So i think I and Mandark will have a great time!:)

New begining: Czech Republic!

I didn't had time to writte about my arrival in Czech Republic but now seems to be the perfect time, so: I got a scholarship from the government of Romania to study in Brno (which is the second city from Czech republic) at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences and I am really happy now cause I can work on what I've desired and with beautiful people. The city is amazing, it has some medieval, gothic style , not so crowded, always you can see cultural events and the best thing that I love the moste is that most of the people has a pet (most of them are dogs, yeyyy) a bike and looks like they are always ready to go on a mountains trip, so sporty and relaxed!!

I will go this day to have more photos to convince you that Brno is a beautiful city which deserves to pe visit. Until then : Kiss and have a great day, cause I will have it for sure!!:)

In my hurry of showing you the presents from my birthday I forgot to mention that in the last days..29 exactly we celebrated Hera (my beagle sweet dog) birtday!! She is a young lady now..She got 1 year old!! yeyyyy!!!!!!!!!!
I made her a special cake with a Nr.1 candle and I made her a crest (coif)!! Isn't she lovely!! Hehehe..So happy birthday my sweet dear Hera!!!

And it pasted another year from my life, i am getting older now but I am still felling like a kid, thank God:))
Saturday I was at Cluj with the part of my friends having some beer, chating (most of them I didn't saw them for months) tequila music and of course...presents!!! Ieii!!
Sweer Daria gave me a beautifull pinkish bow, vintage Ruxandra gave me a....vintage of course, necklace, from my sister i got a cute handmade lace necklace and a cute bird brooch.

Look at this caricature...funny ha? I found it now when I was trying to make some baggage for my departure in Czech Republic...it's from Paris two years ago when I had a beautifull trip with my sister and my boyfriend..I have to frame it!!!

And from my veterinary friends I've got a very cool vet costume, I really need it one!!! Oh yes..and a bottle of tequila..in the picture is emty cause we drank it all!Muahahhaha!!

Well, am facut-o si pe asta, primul meu set/comanda pentru o mireasa. Desi nu am facut niciodata acest tip de bijuterii si mai ales pentru o mireasa eu am luat-o ca pe o provocare; niciodata nu stii ce pot iesi din mainile tale nu? eu sunt destul de multumita si spre bucuria mea si viitoarea miresica este. Modelul este preluat insa cu modificari majore, in functie de doleante. Voi revenii cu poze in care fericita mireasa le poarta in ziua ei cea mare:)

Yellow to everyone!! Astazi m-am gandit sa dechis atelierul meu de creatii si sa va las si pe voi sa trageti cu ochiul la ceea ce am lucrat zilele astea, mai precis sambata si duminica: un set de 6 brose care mai de care mai simpatice (zic eu:P) facute dapa aceeasi tehnica ca precedentele. Am sa va prezint pe rand pasii molcomi pana la produsul finit...brosa din ceramica cu dantela made by Murmu:). Sa incepem zic:

1. First avem nevoie de : ceramica aerata (eu am primit-o din Germania, insa cred ca se gaseste si la noi pe piata), este foarte moale si usor de modelat, cu putin ajutor din partea apei.Dupa care modelam cercuri, le presam si cu ajutorul unui capac de Lenor:))))) am redat forma finala. (Pentru a nu se lipi de suport am folosit o lama de cater si o bagheta de lemn cu varf).

2. Then, asamblam suportul de brosa cu ajutorul aceleasi ceramici si a apei ptr o mai buna coaptare, apoi dupa ce am facut asta la fiecare brosa ne uitam pe maini si vedem asa ceva:))(like in the picture) ai senzajtia ca iti cad degetele imediat insa mie imi place:))). Apoi le lasam la "dospit" 24 de ore pentru intarire.. Noapte buna....:)

3. Ok, buna dimineata!! Brosele noastre sunt gata de a devenii bijuterii right?Righhhttt!! So, pasul urmator: desenul. Poti opta pentru: tus negru (pentru contur si nu numai), acrilice, carioci, cam orice..insa cel mai fain ies in tus si acrilice, cel putin pentru mine.

4. Pictam fondul cu acrilice..like in the picture....

5. dupa care aplicam un adeziv f bun, in cazul meu "Bison" se preteaza a fi cel mai bun pana acuma, pe marginile brosei cu grija...asteptam cam 2 minute si apoi lipim dantela sau panglica

6. cu multa rabdare deoarece este un pas cam nesuferit (ti se lipesc degetele , trebuie sa apesi bine pe dantela ca sa stea bine)

7. Et voila....we did it..nervii au iesit pe fereastra:))

8. Then, lacuim brosa pentru un aspect placut shinny
And voila...brosele sunt gata de purtat in pieptul unor domnite!! Sper ca va placut la mine in "atelier" si de ce nu..poate a fost si productiv!! VA URMA!!:)

I've always loved the light sky blue and most of all in furnitures...Today i've got a taste for home design and decoration and i've searched some pretty nice photos that made me fall in love and put me in a dream sensation...that's for sure: if not all the future house will be like in this photos, i know that even one room it will be in this pretty color.

Acrilice si tus

Zilele astea am lucrat mai mult in acrilice incercand sa le dau de gust deaorece inainte nu prea imi placea sa lucrez cu ele insa mi-am zis: "c'mon just give them a chance" and i did:).. rezultatele sunt urmatoarele...
1. Primul desen este in acrilic negru si tus negru pe suport de carton buretos (sincer habar nu am cum ii zice) gros si lucios. Desenul este inspirat din creatiile Liselotte Watkins, which i LOVE. I will call it: Good Moorning 60's

2. Al doilea desen este pe carton maro cu acrilice si tus negru, tot inspirat din creatiile Lisolette Watkins and i call it: Catching the future with the eyes of an edwardian

3. Si ultimul este desen cu acrilice pe carton verde plus tus si este inspirat din creatiile "alisaburke", o alta artista ce o admir. Name of the painting: "Virtual spring"

Toate desenele vor urma sa fie puse in vanzare dupa ce vor fi inramate si dichisite:)). Daca iti plac si asa no problem..se dau si asa;))

With this post i want you to welcome in my little world!! This pictures are from my new place in Sibiu where i've tried to decorate with not so many stuff cause i couldn't take them all from Cluj..so one bye one, piece by piece i've built a small cousy place where i can chill with my dog and wait for the ideas to come and create.
Many of my stuff where collected over the time from different places and countries, gifts and of course my works.

It's nice to come from the job and find a relaxing place. Still it's not what i've dream at but i am happy with this one to. When i will have my own house i will decorate all the walls, paint them and of course it will be full of dogs:))

Hei extra extra read all about it: Murmu had prepared a new colored collections of brooches with cute little animals and birds and ice-cream and cupcakes.
The collection is calling: "On a lovely saturday".

The second collection, Another face of Alice, is something very special for me, that includes 4 painting that reveals the faimos little Alice in her beautiful wonderland in 4 different poses which embodies 4 most important caracters from the story.

All the works will be presented in the futures post one by one with every little detail, So stay tuned on my blog 'cause crazy, sweety lovely things will come soon.
